Arts Organization Feature: DYSPLA

Updated: Mar 17, 2020

At Friends of Quinn, we are always learning about new organizations that celebrate and support those with LD’s. One such organization is the award-winning arts organization DYSPLA.

Based in London, England, DYSPLA is dedicated to, “producing and developing the work of dyslexic and neurodivergent storymakers...we work internationally in film, immersive theatre, installation and digital art. Incorporated in 2013 to shed light on Dyslexic Narrative and the Dyslexic Aesthetic, DYSPLA is at the forefront of neurodivergent creativity.”

If you are into the arts on any level, whether as an art maker or a fan, DYSPLA is an organization that you should definitely check-out. Plus, on the heels of Oscar season is DYSPLA’s own International Moving Image Festival which is the first festival dedicated to dyslexic and neurodivergent filmmakers.

DYSPLA is one of many organizations that celebrate the LD mind, and we look forward to telling you more about them and other organizations that we think you should know about!
