Going to see my sister this afternoon! She is flying into SFO from Chicago and has a job interview at 3pm in Burlingame (in the bay area) so we are driving there and meeting her for dinner. Williams Syndrome is a genetic disorder that occurs in approximately 1 out of every 8000 births. It is caused by a deletion of chromosome 7. This may occur randomly, with no family history of Williams Syndrome, however, once it occurs, parents with Williams Syndrome have a 50 percent chance of passing it on to their children.
