Losing Weight

I have finally found a trick to weight loss that appears to work for me: walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes at 3.3 miles an hour. I normally use to run for about ten minutes and get all sweaty and then start coughing, because I wasn't use to running like that. The longest time I ever ran for was 15 minutes and 6.0 miles an hour, but I nearly died after doing that and it took me about two weeks to be able to run that fast for that long.
My goal is to lose my stomach - "my little friend" as I call him - by the time I get married; I want to look fit and look like I have been working out. I think that if I walk 30 minutes every night and eat healthy for this year, which is my New Year's Resolution, I think that I will be able to achieve that goal. I learned though that I lose twice as much and still get a little sweat more by walking for 30 minutes for 3.3 mph than running for 10 minutes. When I am done walking, I also feel that my I have gotten much more of a work out as well because my quads are burning much more so after walking the way than running.
