I am the mom of two dyslexic adult children. I am also a library media specialist in an elementary school. In my 32 years of teaching I have worked with children who have many learning differences. Our building has Learning Support, Multiple Disabilities, Profound Disabilities and Autistic classrooms. I see learning differences from both the educational side and the parental side. My husband and I have raised two very successful children. It wasn't always easy, but what important job really is? I love to read, talk, make crafts and I speak fluent sarcasm (someone really needs to create a sarcasm font)

If you were a superhero what would your superpower be?
Hmmmm that is tough. I guess a superhero should put others before themselves. I would have the power to give every child a safe and happy childhood. If I was a selfish superhero I'd be BROADWAY GIRL -able to belt out a Broadway tune at any moment (of course that has no real useful purpose, but it would be fun!)

I'm a LIBRARIAN! To save time let's just assume that I'm never wrong!
On a perfect day, you like to....?
Sit on the beach with friends, talking and solving the world's problems, watching people and reading!
What skill or talent are you most proud of?
I can make up a poem or a song in a moments notice. Perhaps I was born in the wrong era as I might make an excellent rapper, LOL!
