Video: Program to help young people with LDs find their path

Print Posted by Quinn on 3 August, 2012

A friend sent this to me, and I think it looks like an amazing program. ACES  (A Chance to Experience Success) is a two week summer camp for young adults with learning differences and/or ADHD to learn how to interview for jobs, connect with real people who talk about the kind of work they do while allowing the campers to experience their workplace, and to find out what they like and don’t like about the options for jobs they are given; it is also a great way for kids with LDs to meet other kids like them.

Has anyone ever participated with ACES? Or a similar program? What was your experience?

These are all really great programs, I will be sharing this site with my students when we start back to school!
