The Power of Knowledge

Print Posted by Quinn on 17 April, 2012

Olympic marathon runner, Eric Gillis, is making the rounds and talking openly about his life with dyslexia. This is great news and I love when accomplished people speak out about thir learning differences. It always ends up giving other people with LDs hope. I also think that it especially gives new parents who have children with an LD hope that their child could do anything they want to do.

As I said in my book, my story is not much, but I hope that by me telling my story that it will help others open up and tell theirs. I believe that the more we know about something the less afraid we are of what it is that we are afraid of or as my parents believe, “Knowledge is Power.” If you have intelligence about a subject than you have the power to turn something bad into something good.
