A Teen Bully-cide

Print Posted by Quinn on 23 April, 2012

Here is an article about a gay teen who committed suicide after being bullied in school and online. Bullying effects so many young people these days. After his death, the people in the town gathered holding signs that said, “It takes more than a village to stop a bully.” A local guy, Stormy O’Brink said, “I think people need to stop being a bystander to bullying.” I still don’t understand why kids pick on each other, never have and never will. All of us who have been bullied or have seen someone bullied really need to work together to make sure this stops. Being "different"  can be hard, especially hard if you are bullied. We need to stick together and be like a village. My heart goes out to the family who lost their son.
